Dave’s a SUN ‘n FUN Pioneer
SUN ‘n FUN Pioneers were and, in some cases, still are instrumental in the initial and continued success of the SUN ‘n FUN Fly-In. We honor those who gave so much so those today can continue to enjoy aviation and educate our future aviators.

SUN ‘n FUN could not exist without the selfless dedication of our event volunteers. The CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD Awards are presented annually to those volunteers who have gone beyond measure in their commitment to our event.
And Dave’s been the SUN ‘n FUN Radio Chairman from 1995 to now
He turned a 1 watt AM radio station that began as a 1 man operation with a couple mics & a mixer, into a year round information source, transmitting & internet audio streaming information and has as many as 50 volunteers working the 6 day SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo each spring.
